Certificate Holder – This is the GC, Franchise, Institution, Group, Agency, etc that is requesting the proof of insurance. They are the ones listed as Certificate Holder on the the certificate of insurance.
Insured – This is the person whose insurance is being verified. They are typically Subcontractors, Vendors, Suppliers, etc.
Insurance Agent – This is the person providing the proof of insurance for the Insured to the Certificate Holder.
